Welcome to Bricklage. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Bricklage Platform, a digital property verification service operated by Bricklage Global Limited, registered in Nigeria.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bricklage Global Limited (“Bricklage”, “we”, “us”, “our”) regarding your use of our website, provided through our platform.

By using our Platform, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use the Platform. By accessing the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the capacity to enter into legally binding agreements.

Any access or use of the Platform by individuals under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms.

Bricklage provides digital verification services for real estate and property across Nigeria. The Platform allows users to:

• Submit property verification requests

• Upload relevant documents

• Pay for verification

• Receive investigation results in the form of a verification report

We verify properties by checking relevant public records, registries, and other physical and legal sources of information.

Bricklage is not a real estate agency, broker, property seller, or legal advisory firm.

• We do not negotiate, facilitate, or transact the sale of any property

• We do not provide investment or financial advice

• We do not issue legal guarantees about the status of any land or property

Our services are strictly investigative and informational, based on public records, site inspections, and best-effort due diligence.

Access to the Bricklage Platform and its services are restricted to registered users only. To access or use any part of the Platform, you must first create a user account by completing the registration process.

By registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during sign-up

• Maintain and promptly update your account information as needed

• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential

• Accept full responsibility for all activities under your account

You may not create more than one account or use another person’s credentials. Bricklage reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in violation of these Terms.

Bricklage conducts property verification by reviewing documents submitted by the User and performing checks at relevant registries. Verification results are presented in a formal report. We take reasonable steps to verify the accuracy and authenticity of all records available to us and to highlight concerns or defects that a reasonable buyer should be aware of. This may include confirmation of registration, survey coordination, pending litigation, or probate issues, among others.

However:

• Reports are based on current data obtained at the time of search

• Registry access is subject to government availability and public access procedures

• We report facts as found; we do not alter, predict, or draw legal conclusions beyond the evidence presented.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Submitting forged or misleading documents

• Accessing or attempting to access restricted areas of the Platform

• Scraping, crawling, or extracting data from our systems

• Using the Platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes

• Replicating, modifying, or distributing our reports or service logic

• Impersonating other users or clients

• Engaging in unauthorized reselling of our services

Violations of this clause may result in account suspension or legal prosecution.

All intellectual property related to the Platform, including text, graphics, software, branding, documentation, and reports, is the sole property of Bricklage Global Limited.

You may not:

• Use our trademarks without consent

• Copy or reproduce our templates

• Host or distribute our reports without approval

Bricklage provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free

• All registries will be accessible at all times

• Every risk or legal defect will be visible or disclosed in public records

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, title, and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: Bricklage shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage

• Any loss of property, funds, or investments arising from a decision made based on a verification report

• Any delay in registry response, access denial, or incomplete record availability

• Any technical interruption, unauthorized access, or cyberattack

In all circumstances, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific verification service in question.

If you breach any provision of these Terms, Bricklage reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to:

• Suspend or terminate your access to the Platform

• Revoke issued reports

• Pursue legal remedies, including reporting to law enforcement

Termination may occur with or without notice, and we shall not be responsible for any resulting data loss or service interruption.

By using the Platform, you consent to our collection, processing, and storage of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes:

• Full name, contact details, and uploaded documents

• Property details and location

• Usage logs and activity tracking

Your data will only be used to provide and improve our services. We adhere to the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

The Platform may link to third-party services (e.g., payment processors, mapping tools). We are not responsible for:

• Content or privacy practices of external websites

• Delay or failure of service from third-party registries

• Unauthorized access caused by third-party integrations

We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: Natural disasters, Pandemic-related closures, Court or registry inaccessibility, Government restrictions or unrest, Cyberattacks or platform outages.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute shall first be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, the parties shall proceed to mediation. Where mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to arbitration in Lagos State, and the award shall be final and binding.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bricklage. They supersede all prior agreements or understandings relating to the use of our Platform and services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Platform with an “Effective Date”. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes your acceptance.
